Fort Beauséjour

On the border on Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, 18th century Fort Beauséjour still stands. Overlooking the Isthmus of Chignecto, the echoes from a great battle between France and Britain are preserved within its walls.

On our way from Sackville, NB to Joggins, NS for my cousin Lacey’s wedding, my family and I made a quick stop at Fort Beauséjour to take some pictures of the fog rolling in beneath the sunset-painted clouds.
